1. Power on the controller by pressing [B+Y+Power] (hold B and Y first in off state, then press Power until lights on).
2. Rotate the joystick to its maximum outer diameter twice and release (any rotation is acceptable; software detects edge values).
3. Hold Power to shut down (critical: calibration data saves only after normal shutdown).
